Weather has been real bad lately. My whole body now aching and having headache. This sem I just couldn't concentrate. I think its partly because of my health. And I tends to think of alot of things when I'm not feeling well, as theres nothing better to do. And this even further make me weaker when I keep thinking.

Met up with Andre, Bonian and Laurencia last saturday to celebrate Andre's belated birthday! We went to kbox to sing. Andre could sing really well! And laurencia's voice is really very nice! Had steamboat for dinner. And watched mamerduke for movie. It has been a long time since we last met up. I think almost a year or more.

Deadlines inspires my creativity =D

Heh heh. Had been a tiring week. I'm very very tired. Had lunch together with chicken family and da jie's gang! So fun to eat together! I really love this moment. Chest became very funny. Haha! Ann Nee still the same! Funny as usual. She and yingjia and fight alr. But I think yingjia will win, cos her name already determines the winner already. Hehe. Had psycho of creativity after that. Boring ok! I was so elated when ms hernie said she gotta leave earlier for some performance thingy. I kept looking at my watch lol. After PoC I went to look for yvonne and weiying. Surprisingly weeling was there. I hardly see her stay in school till so late. Heh heh! Chat and chat and chat. Helmi will be dressing up as Alice tmr. Our strong competitor! Hahaha! Beware of our guns tmr ok! When walking out of bus entrance, I saw Jamie. I waved hi to her and xiuwei was infront of me! I was shocked and said hi to her too! She became prettier! Haha. I really envy some of my classmates. They are together in the same class even though they do not really talk to each other. But they still in same class! Thats a good thing! :(

Kite-Flying!

My first time flying a kite! And it's in TP! It was fun! But my kite got stuck on the rooftop. Sad. Played games with Yvonne, Weiying and Yingjia. Yingjia keep winning money. No wonder her name called Yingjia. Haha! It felt so great to play these childhood games. Kite-flying was fun too! Next time let's go kite-flying again! :D

Thursday was fun! Had lunch and chatted with friends till late late. Haha! I suddenly find it a gift, to be able to spend time with them. Really miss them a lot a lot.

Psychology of Creativity wasn't that bad afterall! The group activity was fun! We came out with our own story and all sorts of nonsense came out! Haha. But very stressful to be in the class with everyone in the cert programme. Joel was funny! His GPA power. 3.86 I think. SO HIGH OK! Everyone so high. I think I'm the lowest in the class. And Sean (Qu Xin)'s one is 3.9. I was like...................... when he said that. SUPER STRESS OK! Then another girl is 3.79 I think. ALL SO HIGH! Stress to the max! Oh and! Joel said my face like got 10 ex those kind. Lol. I was shocked ok. Say until like I'm some bad boy. Thats why I asked WY today do I look like a bad boy lol. HAHA but he's really fun to chat with. Hope to be in the same group with him for psycho project! :D

ONE MORE THING! I don't know how to tell jokes! Cherylene just say say only and it became so funny to me. AH! Lucky Ms Hernie had forgotten about that.

Friday!
Lecture was ok. But I was picked by the lecturer again! Why everytime me! Everytime the lecturer: lets pick someone ah... lets see, alvin! And I will get a shocked! Lol cos I don't know what they are talking about sometimes. And at times I actually don't even know what is the question as I was thinking of something else. Then Ying Jia also got called. Haha! I told Ying Jia I very sian. Then she said sorry to me. LOL! SHES SO FUNNY! Sorry for what!? HAHA! Management Science tutorial was fun! I love drawing graph. And only until today did I know that 1 of the Myanmar girl live at block 524! Which means she's my neighbour!? Hahaha! Yay next time can go school and go home together already if our timetable coincides.

There will be a mentoring meeting on saturday to discuss more about the orientation. 2 Sub Comm will be attending the meeting with me, and they are Ms Won and Mr Zhuang. Hahaha! I'm really surprised that Mark could make it for the meeting. He's really very funny haha! Ok I'm getting sleepy. And I'm happy with the response that I got when I sent out the mass msg regarding the CCN Day to my class. Haha hope we can interact better and have a eventful year together. Did I use a wrong adjective to describe it? Ok nvm. I'm getting sleepy alr. Nightttttttttttttt! =)

Cruel Temptation/Temptation of Wife
The song is simply superb! My mum loves it! I have it as my ringtone. My mum wants it too but I don't want to send it to her lol.

This drama is awesome! I just finished watching this drama last week with my family. Thanks to Wei Ling for lending me the dvds. My family and I watched it everyday, episode by episode, very exciting and nice! At first Ai Li don't look really nice, but the more I look, the more I find her pretty. She is a very good mother. Always care about her son. She is willing to give everything for his son. Very very sad and touching. I cried when she became very pathetic. I also cried when Nino cried for his mum. Nino very poor thing. Then the last episode, the Nino grandma scold him for causing the death of his parents. Then Nino went missing. When they found him again, his grandma cried and said sorry. That scene super touching. I cried also. My mum cried when she watch this show too. Very very touching. Hope got more of such dramas to watch. I'm now watching You're beautiful, currently at episode 4. VERY funny drama. And I re-watched Cruel Temptation/Temptation of Wife, Currently at episode 5. HAHA!

Classes were boring......................... My class is super quiet. My class only have 4 boys. I really miss Year1 classes. The chicken family. The burping queen class rep.

Happy Easter Day!
Today went to the church that liangting always go with weiling and liangting. Heart of God. The people there were nice, warm and friendly! I like their songs too! They are very very very friendly. I heard from my friend that church people will always pester you to become a christian. But this church doesn't! And and they are just too friendly! Very very very warm people. So kind and friendly. Especially a girl named Mabel. Her voice sounds like Shanice. Very very alike. The hair color also look the same. Then we had dinner together with them after the church service. Then went home after that. And Mabel said, remember to keep smiling! Hahaha. Shes so outgoing like Shanice.

Today I learnt something.

Dream and The woman who still wants to get married. I've been wanting to watch these 2 kdrama, and got bored after the first few episodes. I don't really like to watch shows online, prefer to watch on tv more. Someday I'm gonna go buy the dvds. The man who can't get married and A good day for the wind to blow seems to be nice too. I want to watch them but I don't want to watch them online. =/ They are starred by my favourite actor and actress, the cute couple from BOF; Kim Bum & Kim So Eun! :D

Got back my results on Friday!
I was waiting and waiting and waiting for them to update the result thing on the student portal. After knowing that many of my friends had already know their results via sms, I became even more nervous! And when JunYan told me he got 3 distinction and 3B+, I felt hopeless already, thinking that I confirm lose to him. Then at 2pm, i was like spaming the student portal, but they still haven't put up the results! I was so nervous, waiting for my results with weeling, alicia and junyan chatting with me to kill time. And suddenly, Junyan say the results come out already! AH! I became even more panick and nervous! I don't dare to check it. Then Junyan said: "OUT ALREADY, GO CHECK. QUICK!!!" Something like that. And so... I went on to login, and click on the examination results.

AND.................................
The first thing I did when I saw my results was to scream for my mum. Haha. I can't believe that I got a B+ for my Psychology! And the rest of the grades was better than what I had expected! My efforts really paid off. Super happy. Super surprised and shocked.

I want to thank my project group mates, both this sem and last sem's group mates:
- Miss Won Weiying (Crazy Duck, Chicken Wing) , a very effective group member who always try her very best to bring everyone together and schedule most of the group meetings

- Ms Suzie Tan (CSA Tutor) , Thank you for tolerating our nonsense every thursday from 3-6pm. Even I, could not stand the noise level sometimes. You have to constantly stop and maintain the noise level. Either that or you have to answer to some stupid questions. I'm really surprised that you are able to endure all these. You know what? I have been thinking how long you can last before you break down lol. Seriously, you have been a very tolerating person. Thanks for teaching me the subject CSA, I really appreciate it.

Every monday, business accounting 2 tutorial are always so noisy. I can't even hear what the tutor is teaching. The class is so so so noisy. But despite the noise, she never gives up! She will still carry on the class. Very tolerating. But there was a time when she really couldn't tolerate anymore and she like kind of burst out. Thank you for being my business accounting tutor! :)

There are alot of people who I wanted to thank!!! Like as if I had won some award huh? Haha don't care! They are the ones who helped me with the grades that I've gotten! Thank you ANN NEE for helping me to memorise the OB conflict part! Thank you Weiying for helping us in the dreamweaver project for CSA! Thank you Nicholas, Chest and Roy for all those valuable information! There are 2 people whom I wanted to thank, but I won't disclose their names. They make studies a challenge to me and make me want to challenge them, which motivates me to strive for the higher level. I want to thank my family members too for being so caring and motivating! I still remember during the examination period. I was studying until very late at night. There was a lot of mosquitoes. I was like playing catching with the mosquitoes, but they always catch me LOL. Then my grandmother helped me put some lotion or don't know what on the swollen parts.

During the examination period, my mum and uncle had operation. My mum's one is on her neck, my uncle's one is on his arm. Plus the pressure that I'm having, the fun of CNY period, I really feel like giving up on theory subjects. But in the end, I just carry on, and my efforts really paid off. But this time round, I have learnt a lesson. Never to be complacent. REMEMBER ALVIN SENG! Do not ever be complacent! Knowing Nick, Chest and Roy makes me realise something. That is, I only study what I'm given, and my general knowledge is close to 0. I'm going to read more now to upgrade myself!

So this is it. The end of the Year 1. I hope that we still can keep in contact! Especially the close ones! :))

I got addicted to computer gaming! This time it's really strong, so much so that I play until I forgot whether had I bath for the day and whether did I had my meals. Today I only had brunch, which is bread + egg + hot dogs, and a little bit of rice cakes. And up till now then I realise that I didn't had my dinner at all. I've been playing for almost 14hours. !!!

Had a really weird dream yesterday, VERY SCARY. I dreamt that I was late for business accounting paper or amaths paper. IT WAS SO REAL! I was late and xiuwei was with me, I guess shes inside the dream cos I always ask her for seat number when I forget mine, and whenever I'm late for exams, I just gotta look for her upon reaching the exam hall. SO YEAH........ I WAS LATE! I mean, we were late! Then! I think I was the one who decided to buy an MC, and take a SUPP paper. EH nono. In the first place, I think we were waiting for each of our friends. Ah, whatever it is, we just got late. And know what!? Late for more than 30mins = Absent for exams. I PANICK LIKE MAD. I was so so so so so scared. And I woke up after that I think.

So people. This is called post-exam stress. Understood-ed? Heh.

5/5 down, which means... It's holiday!!! Time to rest!

This has been a very tiring week for me. Sunday I slept at around 3am and wake up at 7 (4hr), Monday I slept at 5.30am and wake up at 7.30am (2hr), Tuesday I slept at around 2.30am and wake up at around 9am (6.5hr), Wednesday I slept at around 5am and wake up at around 7.15am (2.15hr). Total hours of sleep in 4 days = 4hr + 2hr + 6.5hr + 2.15hr = 14.65hr. SO TIRING! I hate theory subjects.

Evaluation of Semester 1.2: Projects were quite well done, group cohesiveness has increased! Heh. Tutorials was ok, but I didn't do much of the tutorial homework this semester, became very slack. Lectures was the worst one. My attendance for OB and Marketing Lectures have been on and off. I will go for all lectures next semester even if I don't understand! This is because even when I don't understand, the things that the lecturer say during the lecture will sometimes pop up in my mind during exams or revision, serving as retrieval cues to me, allowing me to recall the concepts more easily. And I'm considering whether or not to drop the psycho package. Psycho is really tough to score. In order score well, dropping of package is necessary, and the CDs that I will most likely take is Business Calculus. This is because there isn't much theory to it.

Exams
- Marketing was quite ok
- Business Statistics was terrible, I made numerous silly and dumb mistakes
- OB was quite ok too, ALL THANKS TO ANN NEE!!!!!!!!!!! She helped me in memorising the power tactics and potential causes of conflicts within like 30mins!? THANKS MAN!
- Macroeconomics was so far the best!
- Business Accounting 2 was quite ok, except for the theory part which I wrote some crappy principles, plus the 5 marks in the stock taking question. Total marks donated: 5+6+7 =18.

This time round I guess my results will mostly be at around B+ , but in order to WIN, the only way is through moderation.

Went back to Pingyi today. I felt super nervous when I was on my way there. Super weird feeling. Everyone looks fine but the school seems to be very warm. I kept sweating even when I was in the library. :/

The day was fine, and hardbone shared with us her love story. I felt very touched and happy at the same time. What a cute couple! Hope you managed to appeal to the course/school you want. :)

Ah girl gu gu look sooooooooooooooooo gorgeous on her wedding. She's the prettiest bride I've ever seen so far I guess. Haha! And I love the video they made. Everything's going so well EXCEPT the "wall". Blocked everyone's view. Alvan is so lucky to get such a beautiful lady as his bride. I don't know why. When I watch that video, and look at gu gong and kim po, I feel very touched. HAHA! WEIRD FEELING. Their daughter has gotten married! I wonder what will happen if next time my daughter get married. Our Psycho tutor never fails to do the same thing every thursday. She always makes me feel so super sleepy during her tutorial. And I mean EVERY tutorial. She speaks in a monotone way, which makes me don't understand a single thing. If I were to have insomnia any day, she would be the best remedy / cure for it. And she said this during tutorial today -> " Hey, am I making sense in what I'm talking? " Ans from me: NO! , but of course I didn't said it infront of her, if not my participation points would be at stake. I think everyone in my class doesn't understand what she is teaching for every tutorial (Projection).

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TIRED.

HELLO! Happy New Year!!!

Today my relatives came my house again. Haha! So fun and noisy today. I enjoy playing with my cousins. But they're so violent! Pillow fights! Kicking of weighing machine! Stepping on office chair and etc! I think my gameboy going to spoil soon at this rate... Hannah throwed the pillowed on Nicole and the pillow happen to hit my laptop before dropping on the floor. She stepped on the office chair and all the dust just VOOM! And the end results is: SNEEZING! It wasn't that bad for me, but Nicole and Amadeus suffered. They are very sensitive to dust. Oh ya. One more thing. They loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee webcam! Haha! I hope they didn't give Wei Ying a shock just now. x.x They just left not long ago, at around 12 I guess. Now my aunt is ordering mac delivery. We were happily picking what we want from the mac website then she went to the living room to make the phone call.

Accounting... First time do so badly. Very disappointed.
Ann Nee: "What first time! You only took accounting this time and last time, two times only what." Hahaha! She said something like that if I don't remember wrongly. She never fail to cheer us up when we're down. The chicken family!

Prigg, Bugg, Irritating!

I'm soooooo tired. Actually not really that tired. Heh. I don't think I've even sleep for a total of 24 hours during this sem test period. This time round, the mid-set tests like very "hiong". Everyone's studying so hard. Compared to last semester, the way we're studying now is much more exaggerating than last sem's main examination. I have no idea why also, but if this goes on, all my hair will drop. Stress stress stress. After term test, still have lots of project to complete. Oh ya, I still have yet to complete my psycho quizzes. Argh. I can't wait for this sem to end, so that I can have a real good rest. But this means that we'll be split up soon. Sad...

I want to cut botak during sem break!

Walked with Ann Nee to Tampines on tuesday. We kept missing the bus, do we decided to walk to the previous bus stop. We walk and walk and walk, and walked back to Tampines in the end. Ann Nee is superrrrrrrrr hilarious! I can't stop laughing when chatting with her or with her around. Upon reaching tampines, theres a lady who approached us and asked us for $20, $10 from each of us. We doubtful-ly handed over our money to her. She said she will call Ann Nee at night to pay her back, but she didn't. My aircon is under service for that day. Thanks Ann Nee for accompanying me. :( Nicholas asked me about it at night but I totally forget about it already. Why must he remind meeeeeeeeeee! Haha.

Had a really long day today. I was dozing off during psychology tutorial and lectures. All thanks to Chester's sweet which helps to keep me awake. I kept yawning and the tears flow out. My eyes became very pain because of the contact lenses on my eyes.

Then I accompanied Ann Nee to Expo to look for the place she'll be working at. That place is soooooooooooooo huge and soooooooooo crowded! We're like walking in circles. And Ann Nee knows alot of people at there! She said hello to alot of people she met there, all her work-mates. Then we stopped and Ann Nee was chatting with her friend. Suddenly one familiar face came walking towards me. It was actually my god daddy! Followed behind him was my god mummy! I was so shocked and panicked. So afraid that they might think that Ann Nee was my girlfriend or something. And I stammered while I talk to them. Ann Nee was more funny.

LOL!!!! Ann Nee was damn funny! Hahaha. After that we went to find some of her friends again and went back to Bedok. She accompanied me to have my dinner. Thankssss! Went home after eating dinner. Her blog post reminds me of graduation... Yeah all of us were strangers to one another on the first day of school. Looking so blank and scared on the first day. And now we became so close friends. Just when that starts to happen, we're gonna be split into different courses and classes. What will happen next? Sad........................................

Had CCN Day on last fri. It was fun and of course, a good experience for me - I have never work before. I have never done such a thing before. Never sold anything, never march up to the front of the customer to coax them to buy them before. A good experience indeed. Enjoyed myself pretty much.

Today's business statistics test was ok. Our CP was great! I'm glad to have him as our tutor. Accounting is getting a little confused, the class was noisy as usual and I can't seem to hear what the tutor was teaching.

THE MOST EMBARASSING INCIDENT SINCE THE STARTING OF SEM2!
Story of chicken cutlet farting case.

Today I had a tummy upset, probably due to the milk I drank this morning. During marketing fundamental tutorial, the pain comes. We were sitting in our own groups. I was enduring the pain and suddenly... I FARTED! It was so embarassing. Nick was beside me, he giggled upon hearing that 'fart' sound. I looked at weiying and I thought she heard it too, cos her face seems to be giggling as well. I kept laughing and giggling. Then my tutor asked "what is so funny about? want to share with us?" Nick thought that it was the tutor who farted, and asked that question somemore, which makes me laugh even more. In the end, without them asking who farted, I confessed it. Actually no one heard the fart sound except nick, who thought it was the tutor who farted. The 5 of us (nick, weiying, ann nee, chester and I) kept laughing! Roy didn't get it cos I think he was busy drawing some other things. There are some pictures which ann nee took. Will post them up soon.

Projects are due soon. Tests are coming soon as well. I have little hope for marketing fundamental. BUT I WILL TRY TO AT LEAST GET A DECENT PASS FOR IT. I constantly remind myself the importance of each subject, and motivate myself to work harder.

Things are getting better as time passes by. Getting back on track. Had online lecture with squirrel yesterday, which was pretty fun! Anyway, I've set some goals for the subjects. They are as follows:-

MacroEconomics -> A

Marketing Fundamental -> B
Introduction to Psychology -> B
(They are subject to change as the weeks progresses)

I'm beginning to like Organisational Behavior after today's lecture. Motivation. Effort -> Performance (High), Performance -> Outcome (High), Outcome -> Reward (High) = MOTIVATED. Did I do it wrongly? I DIDNT REFER TO THE BOOK. Wrong then let it be wrong.

I had trouble making a choice when I got my O'level results. Don't know which course to enter. And now, I'm facing the same exact problem once again. Business/Marketing/Logistics & Operational Management. Initially I was very into Business. Now, changed my mind, heading for LOM. BUT upon logging in to the system, it starts to waver again. So I've decided, to... Choose it tomorrow. Heh!

I'm too tired to do anything right now. I no longer have that motivation which drives me to work harder. Probably I've worked too hard for the last sem, and needs to slow down my pace this sem. One factor which contributes much to it might be complacency. Sometimes I would feel overconfident and thus, not bothering to finish my work on time. Kept procrastinating. Take this week's tutorial for example. I actually fell asleep without doing my homework, which is really unforgivable. I couldn't forgive myself for that. And I promised myself to wake up the next morning to complete them, but I didn't. Complacent, I guess. Thinking that I will be able to do well and catch up if I revise it later. I tried to change, but failed. It is really hard to change you see. The 6 long weeks of sem break, I've been wanting for school to reopen, excited for school. But when it started, the feeling of excitement is no longer there. The feeling which I'm having now is almost the same as the one in sec3, which I practically sleep throughout the whole of the lessons and asked Royston to help me take notes. But of course, Poly doesn't allow that to happen. My class participation points would be at stake if I were to do so. Skipping OB lectures and etc etc. I really wasn't that type last time. I really think I've became complacent, somehow in a way or another. And that is what that brings a person down. No wonder Ms Pow and Mr Chua reminded us thousands of times not to be complacent. Even my mum reminds me constantly not to be action or what when I succeed in something. I merely did quite fairly for last sem and this is how I behave now. How am I suppose to pass this sem then?

Gotta recharge my batt. Take a break, and launch a full blast!

Went back to sec sch for teachers' day celebration! Wow. Got to see everyone(Not quite). Took lots of pictures but none are with me(except one). After that we(Fanny, Royston, Penglin and Esther) went to suntec city to play arcade. Damn fun! They caught a lot of cute stuff. The guy working at there were quite nice as well. Hmmm. Quite scary too. =/ Then, we played the erm... I have no idea what's the name called. All of us screamed while we played, and he gave us free games. For like... 3-4 plays? He said it was a free entertainment for him. I guess that free "entertainment" are all our screaming. :X Had dinner at Xing Wang and went home after that.

Thanks so much for the Mickey Mouse and the fun today! I really enjoy it a lot! :D

Sec School is just like that. Anything can happen. Studying is boring so people gossip or do nonsense things. But without these, sec school will have no life already. So my last advice to you is to think twice before you do anything. Ignore is the key. And work hard for your future.

Went back to my secondary school yesterday. Lots of things happened.
Thought about lots of things.

Some people just put on a mask everywhere they go. Showing (or acting?) how innocent they are. These type of people exists everywhere. Of course, there are lots of things we are troubled with. With work, money, school work, bgr, friendships and etc. Amongst these, the worst and the HARDEST to handle is probably friendships. Plans change, people change. The only thing that’s constant is change, isn’t it? At some point in time, you might be the one who is changing AND you thought the others were changing. That is because you change, and expects everyone to be like you. With this, conflicts arises easily. Time is needed for them to reflect on what they did. The change might probably be a good one though, but one could turn aggressive when reacting to such changes. There are also some other factors which makes it hard to handle. This includes: your wants to believe, influenced by others and backstabbing. Of these, the one that makes friendship the HARDEST to handle is your wants to believe. Why? This is because, no matter how or what others did, as long as you have the ability to TRUST the RIGHT person, and make CORRECT decisions, your on the right track. But somehow, when people are influenced by others, or heard stories from others, they tend to “shut down” to whatever that is being said by the other party, and listen to whatever that the “backstabber” said. Afterall, it is ones decisions to make the right choice – to trust or not to trust, to believe or not to believe. I have friends who know that it is so obvious that those rumours were fake, and yet they choose to believe it and ended a friendship with their besties. It was such a pity. It could also be that THAT particular person does not want to mix with her so called “besties” any longer and used this chance to kick them off! Well, all these were just my assumptions and my opinions towards friendships. So people out there, don’t take it too seriously when reading this post. Just reflect a little bit about yourself. JUST a little bit will do. Have you ever tried your best to salvage your friendship? Time causes friendships to drift apart when there isn’t any communication between both parties. Just take a little time out to hang out with friends, chatting with them, to keep this friendship going on. And for those “backstabbers”, I applaud you for being so noble and upright for tearing your friends’ friendship apart. How heroic...

I have no idea whats wrong with blogger. I wanted to upload some picture but the upload icons went missing.

Something hilarious-bad happened yesterday. I was happily walking into the free access lab and switching on the computer. And to my surprise, I was actually switching off another girl's computer. I didn't realise it until she told me that.

So here is how it goes:

Me: HUH? (shocked) . I'm so sorry about that.. Really very very sorry.

I felt so guilty thereafter. Minutes later...

Today's POM presentation was a success! Everyone were dressed up smartly and the presentations were very smoothly done. Everyone looked handsome and pretty. Shanice looked especially different today. SUPER different. Caps are used, which stresses on how super it was. The moment she stepped into the room, I go... WOAH! Our group did quite well and I'm proud of that. Let's just hope that every presentation will be just as smooth as this. :)

Up next will be Econs presentation on wednesday, followed by CSA presentation on thursday, and the handing up of comm skill outline on friday. See? The schedule is so tight. Immediately after that will be summative tests and comm skill presentation, followed by study week and then sem test.

How time flies. Last year of today, I'm still busy revising my physics, practicing my a & e maths, memorising chemistry, ss & history, doing my english volcab exercises.

The road ahead is tiring, hectic. Tomorrow will be the class test for business accounting. Friday would be POM presentation - ROLE PLAY & MIMING!? . Next week will be the dateline for Econs proj, and csa presentation is coming soon as well. Comm skill summative test is on 8/8/09. And after that, sem test will commence. I'm used to having lots of tests in a week. Which means everything will end in just that one week. However in poly, theres something due every week. And this sucks big time.

They say Polys' carefree. To me, it's a big NO NO. Yes there will be lots of free time. But during the freetime, you'll be too tired to do anything else.

I guess consistent is the word for it.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. Finally finish Comm.Skill and POM proj. It give me a great sense of satisfaction when they're completed. And yes, credit goes to Brigitte for the POM proj! If I didn't ask her about the project yesterday to double confirm it, I don't think any amendments would be made and we'll just hand it up with the shoooooooooooort answers we had initially, which might cause us to fail! And also not forgetting the sample introduction she let me refer to. THANKS A MILLION KAZUA TAN! And also to Roy for repeatedly reminding us to send him a copy of it whenever we make changes to the projects - so that we could print out the progress report and compile them together (for POM). :D Thanks to my group members for their contributions as well. All of them actively participated in most of the meetings and helped to make things go on smoothly. Especially during yesterday night. Burnt midnight oil. I'm very frustrated today for no reasons. Perhaps because of insufficient sleeping hours?

Yesterday's CSA lesson was the best. That was the FIRST TIME we were allowed to do our own things after the test. We played some games and had lots of fun! Running here and there in the lab. Awesome I must say. Junice & Yi Hsiang winked to me all of a sudden and I go... HUH? It was actually the game 'Murderer'. And I died. Lol. Next we played 'Go back Jump, Go jump Go' and '7-Up'. Had fun playing with the class. Next was cherry-lene's horror story. Its scary... VERY SCARY!!! When I was listening to her story, everyone tried to scare me. !!! Actually it was after I watched that powerpoint that I became like that. Thanks to Ms Ng Qiurong or Qiuyi. She sent me that. !!!!!!! I screamed and ran out(i think) of the room after I saw that powerpoint. Damn scary. VERY VERY SCARY! That was about a year ago but I'm still having the phobia. :x
Imagine you focusing on something, and reading the words one by one. And suddenly one head pop up and screaming sounds comes out.

Studied Business Accounting at library with Yi Hsiang, Ann Nee and Weiying today. Yi Hsiang and Weiying taught me a lot. *Expressing my greatest thanks to them. Ann Nee also keep encouraging us to keep studying. Haha. Let's work hard together!

I did my excel project yesterday until late morning, like 4am? Heh. But it was all worth it. I could spend the rest of the weekend revising other subjects and doing things that I want to do.

Poly life is great even though projects are constantly thrown into our face. Nick, Roy, Weiying and Ann Nee never fail to make me laugh till mad everyday. Oh ya, and the under-wear (where) joke.

Students (us) : Hey teacher! The file save under where arh!?
Haha! There are afew pictures that I had yet to upload them. Like the first class photo taken during the orientation which was a month ago. And also some of the graduation photos. I've been playing restaurant city to the point that I couldn't stop! Gotta do something about it. Just yesterday, I told Brigitte and Yvonne to remind me to study study and study. So far, after poly started, all I did was reading through the whole lecture notes ONCE only and finishing the homework for tutorial. I didn't study or revise anything! Damn shit. When mid-sem test comes, things will be damn ugly and messy. Talking about tests, I'll be having a comm skill test on next tuesday, which comprises of analytical writing and proofreading. I have not write an essay since o'level. How how how!!!

Hi peeps.

First lesson of the day was Comm Skill. Apel was right after that. Mr Selwyn Lim (Class CP) told us about Roy's condition. We had a discussion and agreed to be united as a class and stop laughing/mocking at him. Yeah I'm sorry for laughing at him =/ . I had a tour around the CCA fair and signed up for mentoring. As I had limited time, I left after that for lunch and headed to PYSS. OH YA! Someone wanted to jump down at the mushroom. HE PASSED ME A NOTE SAYING THAT HE'S GONNA JUMP DOWN! I was so shocked and puzzled at the same time. How can anyone jump down from mushroom? Hahaha. It was actually a drama acted out by the drama club cca. ~.~ And thanks to whoever for the cheap accounting textbook! [I don't know who helped me. Naomi, Nicolas or Ann Nee?] Nvm, A big Thanks to all! :D Lunch-ed with Fanny, Brigitte and Weiling. Weiling and I then headed to PYSS while Fanny and Brigitte (Some things never changes) went shopping.

The performances were great and the teacher's band is simply awesome! They even produced CDs to be sold. I'm so proud of my school. Hahaha. After the Speech Day, Liangting, HockRong, Weiling, QiuHua and I went to KFC for dinner. Chat about lots of things in Poly, Ite and stuffs. Generally educational stuffs.

Temasek Poly Business School - Business Study Group, Class of 1B07.

The two days orientation was quite fun. I made some new friends too. The first day was like .... ?.???.?? I don't know anyone in my class. The first one who approached me was Yi Hsiang. A fellow mapler too. Friendly and approachable. And as usual, I don't make the first move. I was so super shy and scared (?), it felt as if I was back in sec 1 or even primary 1. It took me long enough to remember all of their names because of my super GODLY memory skills. There is this guy who made our class popular. I bet anyone reading this would love to have a look at how this guy exactly looks like. He's nice and friendly but... oh well. Perhaps a little bit talkative. But that's his character. =/

Had dinner at 85 with 1B07, Yvonne and Jane (1B23) and our SL - Nicholas. It was quite fun to be with them. I sent Yvonne home after that.

I will still remember my beloved Pingyians, classmates and teachers. I'm currently sorting out and allocating days/time for regular bonding sessions with my group of friends - like meeting up once per week? Hope to see you guys soon!

The pact between Me and Weiling ended last week. A new pact will be forged soon. Tee hee. Guess it? :P

I saw Edric on the 222 bus stop to PingYi !!! I was so surprised, shocked! It has been so long since I last met him. I showed him the photos/pictures of the 5th library handover ceremony. He enjoyed and was happy about it. Suddenly serene wong appeared beside him. I just said hi. Upon reaching the school, I settled down at the parade square. As usual, I was reading my history/ss textbook. But actually I was doing some maths questions while using the books to hide it. Then, Mrs Chan approached and ask everyone to read and not do our homework. I quickly hide it under my leg. She then called Chu Rong to stand up as he was talking too much. After that I went back to classroom. From the top, I could see a nice and beautiful garden at the parade square. It was just too... perfect? Beautiful scenery. All of a sudden someone got possessed. The priest came and he became okay, but turned into a vampire after awhile. Everyone got so shocked. Most of them became vampire. I quickly ran to my computer room. I used my legs and body to push the door and locked it. 2 Prefects suddenly appeared in the room as well. I think their name is tommy and warisa (?). Should be. Anyway, I was panicked! They questioned me why am I there and asked me to go out. I told them theres vampire out there and asked them to call the police. They dressed like some secret agents by the way. I couldn't remember what exactly happened after that.

... And I woke up. What a dream... I could still feel my legs pushing the door.

Today went to school at 7.45am. Seems like a normal school day for me. Took keys from Mdm Noorzura and opened the library. More and more students were in the library after awhile. The library is so busy all of a sudden. I went to the office to look for Mr Rama and when I came out, Azwani was sitting at the counter, beside my seat. I was like... Okay. So all of a sudden, she scream and shout. I kept giggling and end up got scolded by her too. We Joined the Sec4s for recess. Here comes another disaster.... At around 2pm, Edwin did something what I could never ever thought of. HE BROKE/SMASHED/PUNCHED THE LIBRARY DOOR!

Not even after 100hours later after 5th library handover ceremony, the door had been smashed by a librarian. Liyana and afew cleaners helped to clear up the mess. Everyone were shocked! Especially those in the counter. Liyana said she screamed when the door was smashed and shattered into pieces. I was waiting for Mdm Noorzura that time because she asked me for help in some powerpoint presentation and said she gotta go toilet. I was inside the office and I heard the SCREAM and librarians running all around. THEY SAY THE DOOR GOT SMASHED BY EDWIN! All the Excos rushed out from the SLC. Farah was like.... "NOT I BREAK ONE AH , NOT I DO ONE AH!" Damn funny! She made me laugh until I no energy for the day.

I feel super guilty now... My tongue slipped and I've said something that shouldn't be said. So sorry....

The Find-Excos game was played in the morning - The tradition (?) :D A very very fun game. Had lunch, bath and the ceremony starts. Lots of pictures were taken at the library, TOILETS, canteen. I think I've lost my skills in blogging.

Today was a fine fine day. Met up with Shahidah and Amanda at 10.30am but we ran into them at the bedok national library. [Shahidah, I NEVER WALK OFF!!!] So, we went to buy food and skip skip skip. REACHED SCHOOL!!! Today I learnt how to make a flower-shape balloon. Vy and Amanda had a terrible time coaching me how the way is done. =/ Mardiah is as usual, always entertaining us with her non-stop funny speeches. The lizard sound also perhaps? Haha. Shahidah also introduced me the all-time-favourite show - MS SWAN! It's damn funny! THE SWAN, and the swan... !!!!!!!!!!! And miracle happened today. Mr Rama walked with us to Bedok Inter from PingYi!!!! Haha. FIRST TIME EVER!!!! I feel so honoured!!! So anyway, tomorrow will be the 5th handover ceremony for the library club. Hope everything goes well and smoothly.

Just for the record, MY HAIR IS RUINED BY AN EXPERIMENT JUST FEW HOURS AGO!!!

I love library club.

Today was a fun day. The librarians were rehearsing for the handover ceremony for next friday. It's nice to see everyone again. I've collected my O'level cert too! But... I left it inside Wei Ling's file. SHOOT!!! Today is the last duty day for my former duty day partner, Wee Yin sis. I'm actually not that into those gans' , sis , bros all those, but she is my one and only one god sis. Haha. She's cute too. [Take a look at her EZ-Link card] She was quite harsh at first, but after knowing her for a long period, she's actually a very nice girl. A very very good partner to work with. After shahidah was done with her work, we went to 85 for a sumptuous dinner. [Me, Gregory and Wei Ling] Wei Ling is another funny girl. Eat 5 meals per day still so skinny. ^^

Let's organize some outings/gatherings! :O)

This is getting real weird. Perhaps we're growing up? Hmmm...

Life is boring as usual. I've never had such a long break ever in my life. Around 5 months of holidays. How Great! Poly is starting soon. Hooray!!! Time to meet new friends ._. I always get butterflies for the first few days of school. Even when I was in secondary 3 or evcn 4![Don't laugh please.] Thinking about that, it reminds me back the good old days. To say the truth, I guess I'm the luckiest student EVER in PingYi Secondary School. I've never been caught for having long and spiky hair. NEVER. Yeah sometimes they just nag but NEVER been caught publicly or.. schoo-ly? lol. Even when I was collecting my O'Level results, many of them were caught for having dyed hair, WHILE I was safe. This is really amazing. I always shiver in fear when Mdm Anisa says " ALL FMS PLEASE GO DOWN THE ROW AND PICK UP STUDENTS WITH UNACCEPTABLE HAIRSTYLE! " Of course, Ms Ang wouldn't catch any of us BUTTTTTTTTTTT!!! MDM RUKMANI EVERYTIME EXTRA EXTRA COME TO 4E THERE TO CATCH US!!! But she caught Royston instead. That's the funny part. I will remember this for life LOL. It had been 4 months since we've graduated from PingYi and here I am, still reminiscing the days we had together. Call me weak, soft-hearted if you want. But I still miss my old school, the campus, everything! The excitement, the feeling of being nervous, scared and fearing that my hair would be caught is really really satisfying. Too bad everything has ended. [It eventually will] It was hard to put everything behind when I was in P6 and move on to Secondary 1. It is even harder for me to put everything behind NOW and move on to Poly. I need a consultant badly for some advice, or EVEN a COUNCILOR.

IM BACK!

I was sick for the past few days, terribly sick. It felt terrible when falling sick. Whatever food you eat, it's tasteless. You feel weak, can't think properly, can't do things correctly. My vision became blurry and I couldn't hear anything as my fever is too severe I think. All I did these few days was: eat, eat medicine, sleep, wake up eat bread, eat medicine, watch tv, sleep, wake up eat porridge, eat medicine, sleep. And I've finally finished my anti-biotics!

Alright just now me and Weiling was debating over the topic: BGR. Though she and many people might disagree, but I still stand firmly to my own view.

-BGR hinders your way at this age.

-BGR disrupt your studies.

-BGR breaks friendships if not handled with 'care'.

*As I mentioned earlier, these are just my POV

In the end, none of us win as the debate resulted in a no-contest because of an interference from another topic: "age or month?"

Dear Nivla,

I'm looking forward for today's outing but it turns out to be disastrous. Nevertheless, we did have fun, in one way or another.

Erm, excuse me the Prestigious one. I don't quite agree with what you post on your blog. Firstly, sakae sushi is just so near to the place we wanted to eat at first [The name of the Restaurant won't be revealed]. We asked whether want to go up and eat and what did you do? Showed attitude and went off. Secondly, we did not change place because of the price difference of $1. We paid $25.90 for seoul garden today. Thirdly, yes we did say want to eat there but the place is dirty and unhygienic. HOW DO YOU EXPECT US TO DINE THERE! For Greg, I don't want to know what happen between the both of you.

But to sum it up, whats over is over. Even if I disagree with all the things that you post, I can't disagree with the fact that you want to end this friendship. So be it then. I don't think that I did any wrong. You said you hate people that change their place to have dinner, you changed it too right? So don't blame others if you too, are at fault.

People, I know this post is super lame. I also couldn't believe myself for posting such a post. Ending friendship just because of a dinner. This shows that both parties showed little or no interest in carrying on this friendship till we grow up, till we die. Friendships that ended hastily without any 'formal reason' is really a waste.

Here I am, back to blogging. Its been long time since I last blogged. Actually I can't think of anything to blog about. Let's give it a try.

I went back to school today and saw lots of familiar faces. It was nice to see that they actually recognize me and took the initiatives to say hi first instead of me saying it. It may seems that a greeting is just a casual hi or hello but... Its a BIG BIG BIG NO! Greeting is a kind of respect that you give to others, and also one form of recognising someone as your friend. Some may feel that if your friends didn't say hi or hello, they may assumed that they're angry/upset/ignoring them. This may sound ridiculous but that's what really happened in the reality.

Dear Nivla, Happy Chinese New Year!!!

Today was a tiring day. Woke up and had rice kuey for breakfast. Then, went to my Great Uncle house [we called him dua beh]. Something happened there. My uncle six said "WHO ARE YOU?!" when he saw me. I was a little bit puzzled. My mum was abit angry at that moment because she thought he was teasing me [As he said that pretty loudly]. Uncle six swear that he thought I was someone else. He said I look like some japanese guy or angmohs with that red hair and white skin. A debating session got sparked off by my choice of courses. My godfather was argueing with my uncle about which is the better route to having a promising future. Lots of advice were given to me. I will remember what they said. Struggle and work hard now and enjoy later.

Headed off to Jurong West to visit my Ah Gu. We only see him once a year. I feel very sad for him. My mum cried after we left the house. After that we went to my godfather house like always. I was feeling bored and doing nothing except watching tv. Then here comes my cousin. She kept pestering me and asked me to give her maths question. I tested her on BODMAS rule and she did pretty well for most of the question. After that... she... kept asking me... and said she has a question to ask me... which is... "when are you getting married? I want to attend your wedding. I want to be a bridemaid!" AHHHHH!!!! After that had a sumptuous dinner. Right after dinner if I don't remember wrongly, she asked me "do you have any girlfriends? how old then you will get married?" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Double AHHHHHHHH! She is just primary 5. I couldn't bring myself to tick her off. Then she kept talking and talking and talking and I just ignore her. I felt a little bad in doing this. Hehe. My brother went off with my uncle to tianci's house. I was all alone after he left. My father went to play poker, my mum was playing mahjong. My cousins all have to bath and sleep already. So I went to the mahjong room and lie down on the bed. I played pokemon on my phone and my cousins sneak in the room and played with me. They're so cute. My godfather shouted: "OUT!" And they quickly went out of the room. After they left, I continued playing and I accidently pressed quit........... AHHH!!! Then here comes a message from chia wei ling. She wished me happy birthday in advance and said she's the first one to wish me. But oops! Your no.2. The first one to wish me is Chu Rong. Haha. Then I started messaging my friends. Then I played Sudoku until my phone went full FLAT! Was getting a little sleepy as time pass. Tick tock.. Tick tock... Tick tock... and FINALLY!!! They're all done with the gamblings. However, it ended too early for this year, abit unusual.

And here I am! Back home in complete piece. Tomorrow will not be as tiring as today [hopefully] as uncle six's house is near my house. He is still a joker as always, making everyone happy and high. Haha! It will be a tiring but enjoying, memorable and fun-filling week.

I have nothing much to say right now. I've finally gotten back my 'O' Level results. I don't know where I should go.

I want to wear anything I like. Must have School T Shirt or something that shows I'm part of the school
I want the school to start at afternoon.
I want a challenging course/subjects.
I want to earn lots and lots of money in future.
I don't want to end school late.
I don't want to go far far away for school.
I want to be with my friends.
I want to go somewhere convenient and near my house.
I don't want to have GP, but I want the 'A' level award or able to go University.

Thats all i think. Anyone smart enough to suggest where I should go ?

I'm so clueless and lost right now. I know. I should choose the things that I like. But there's practically nothing. Why there isn't any route that can let us straightaway continue with our studies in some institute. Like for example. From primary school will promote to secondary school. Then secondary promote to some other school. WHY MUST THEY GIVE US SO MANY ROUTE WHEN WE'RE AT SECONDARY SCHOOL!!! People who are indecisive like me are having troubles deciding where to go. If I were to go poly, it is almost completely impossible to go UNI. If I were to go college, I would confirm fail badly and get kicked out. HOW HOW?!?!?!?! This is so vexing. I've been so troubled by this for days. And also. Most of my friends are going to Poly. If I were to go JC, I would be very lonely. BUT. This is my life. I should decide for myself and choose my own route. BUT AGAIN! It's hard to me to start all over again in a strange place at some JC. BUT!!! In future when I work, I would also have to be alone. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! This is worst than taking some exams. I keep contradicting myself. HELP ME PLEASE!!!! BUT THEN AGAIN! I should be the one to decide for the place I'm going, and not anyone of you.

CCA Carnival was great. Ping Yi Library Club ROCKS !

A couple of funny scenes happened in the library yesterday, but I'll be dead if I write it down here. For more info, look for Ms Law, SAHIDAH, Ms dot or my godsis weeyin. :)

I met lots of teachers and classmates today. They were looking GREAT! :D

Went to ECP [with sahidah, royston, ms dot, liyana] to cycle after the carnival. We were walking in sequence according to our height. That was funny I thought. Anyway, I AM very tired. REALLY VERY SUPER TIRED. Don't ask me why. Definitely not because of excessive maple gameplay. Next time we shall go somewhere together again!

I'm exhausted and terribly worn out now. Shall update someday later or next time with full detail. 36 more hours to the release of o'level results. I'm excited, nervous, scared and afraid of what I'm gonna see on the piece of result slip.

Dear Diary,

Sorry for being unable to keep you updated with my daily activities. I guess you must be hungry. Now, you shall be fed with something nice. :)

Christmas Party Celebration on 24th Christmas Eve at my GodDad's house. It was a Blast. Kids were everywhere, FOOD was everywhere TOO! Ahpo's Chilli is still the best. Comparable with my Ahma's one. Oh yeah, let's continue. Almost everyone couldn't recognize me. I suppose that's probably because of the way I dressed up on that day, together with my disheveled hair. This year's Christmas could be considered as the most bountiful one, did I used a wrong adjective to describe it? =X Anyway, I'm proud to announce that, I got the Skill Genesis on the day Christmas itself, with the help of 4 Bishops and 1 Dark Knight. Pretty cool huh? The worrying and saddening part is that... Genesis burnt all my mesos. I'm now struggling to survive in the realm of Maple! Argh.

Indeed. Plans change, people change. The only thing that is constant is change. What goes around comes around. MapleStory Bishops really show such examples. When you're a new Beginner, you're poor. When you're a Priest, you earn big money. When you're a Bishops, soloing, you reap what you sow. You're burning all your mesos. Just like the environment. In the past, the forests were intact. Now, the people are clearing them to build more places of interests etc etc. When they're doing this, they're earning big money, and also leading the earth to destruction. Bishops too. Soloing with Non-Stop Spamming of Genesis would lead itself to eventual destruction - Bankruptcy.

A brand new year is coming soon. It felt as if school is starting for me. But nah, not the time for me yet. The most memorable event in my secondary school life would probably be the "Ice & Water - 102'05" and "Racial Harmony - 403'08" Well, to me they contain the best memories in my 4 years of secondary school life. I also miss the chemistry lab.

I shan't post too much, as I think that this is getting quite boring yeah? I shall leave the rest to my next post - Reflection of The Year.

Well welll well. It has been (quite) a long time since I last blogged. Actually I intended to upload the picts and post about the grad night but, I can't find my cable.

These days I've been doing absolutely nothing, nothing at all except playing Maple, Maple and Maple. Gonna rot at home real soon if this goes on. The stack of assessement books that I bought to prepare for my O's are still yet to be completed. Gonna finish them off when I'm free - like everyday ?

Currently level 107 in MapleStory Eridanus. I'm gonna get my revenge on those big shots when I'm stronger!!!

Finally O'level is over!

Went to watch HSM3 with Brigitte, Laurencia, Tasneem and Gregory. It was an awesome movie! It was also very touching, especially at the ending when Ms Darbus announce where the students will be going after graduation. SO SO SO DAMN TOUCHING! Maybe it's probably because of the fact that we're graduating too and that's why I feel so emotional. But hey, it was really very nice. The thought of leaving everyone and all my friends makes me feel very sad. Real sad... After the movie I went home eagerly wanting to play Maple. However, after playing for just few minutes, I started to reminisce the times we had together in sec school life.

I don't want to leave all my friends.

I don't want to start everything all over again.

I dread the thoughts of going to a new environment for tertiary education.

Indeed. One doesn't treasure what he/she has until they've lost it.

My guziah aunt is back from England!
It has been about 5-10 years since I last seen her? I don't know. I was very young when I last seen her. This time she came alone by herself, uncle Simon is busy with some work I think. I love the chocolates that she brought over from England. It tastes heavenly. Haha! It's a little too exaggerating but it's true. =D So yeah. Yesterday they held some sort of welcoming party in our house. About 1/4 of relatives came over to celebrate and that's about 10, 20, 30 + people? I went to school all by myself to study alone because the noise is unbearable. Haha. When I reached home, everyone was still at there. My cousins are all so cute! They're fighting against one another to play the computer. Hannah could even do somersault! I was totally amazed when I saw that. I took out my ancient Doraemon domino and played with them. Had great fun playing with them! The next reunion with everyone might be during Christmas or Chinese New Year.

So how was it? I'm a good babysitter eh? Haha! Credits go to my brother too. He's firm enough to suppress them, LOL.

Anyone here watch Galileo - CH 56 or Numb3rs - CH 19? I love thrillers!
Both are damn cool! Especially for Galileo. Numb3rs - They mostly use mathematics to solve crime, which is so cool larh! Trigo, Sin cos all that!!! :))) For Galileo, I just happened to switch to CH 56 or 256 early this morning and saw that show. Its super cool!!!! The Murderer/killer used ultrasound to kill the victim. I don't really understand but it has got to do with positive and negative pressure and using water as a medium. BUT CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT HAPPENING IN REAL LIFE?! If it wasn't for the professor, the crime won't be solved. And that's the power of science. HAHA! So peeps, do watch it ya! =D

What Ms Valerie said was true.

This long journey is like our 2.4km run. We're now totally exhausted, but we still have to press on. If we walk now instead of running, we'll lose the race. If we continue running, we might not be able to survive. How true. At any point of our 2.4km run, we would definitely have the urge to give up when we're tired and start walking... walking... and walking... It's just a few more lapses, a few more metres, and we will finish the race. If we stop halfway, everything will go down the drain when we did not meet the passing time. And we have to retake it over again and again and again until we pass.

Unfortunately, I fell down and got myself injured during the run, which is caused by the preliminary exams. Usually I would get A1 for both maths but I only got A2 for my emaths and B3 for my amaths. This really hit hard on my confidence. I lost all my confident in dealing with maths problem sums. History too. During the preliminary exam, I stared at the SEQ question for 5-10mins. I don't know which question to choose because I studied the whole book. So everything seemed to be manageable to me but I don't know which to choose. In the end, I couldn't finish the whole paper. Sometimes, I have the sudden urge to give up. I'm really very tired. All thanks to this question that is constantly in my mind every time "since others can do it, why can't I?!" that made me persevere on. What I lack of now is a little bit of confidence.

Special thanks to Edric, Brigitte, Laurencia, Tasneem, Puaysee and all my friends, for being there for me whenever I'm feeling down or despair, and believing in me always. This is the point where we could see who are the ones that are always supporting you.

Today's Topic: "The computer is more of a menace than a blessing" What do you think?

I do not agree with this statement. The computer is a blessing to all of us as things could be done faster with it. We should be fortunate that computers are all around us in our generation. In the past, there were no computers and everything was done manually - which is time consuming. With computers, accountants can easily record down the accounts. With computers, researcher and scientists can easily tabulate their results. All these shows how wonderful and efficient is a computer.

Perhaps the reason why people called computer more a menace than a blessing is because of computer games addiction. Well, we can't shift the entire blame to computer because of that. If we do so, we should also blame the invention of television. A lot of people nowadays are addicted to watching television. So, for that, we can't blame the television and call it a menace also right? This is because of one's interest or hobbies. The same goes for computer. Many people might complain and called computer a menace because it causes addiction. It all actually goes back to you. If you can't control yourself, you'll definitely be addicted to any games, including board games or even gambling. So, you can't blame things that cause you to be addicted. Another analogy would be when you fail your exams. You can't blame your teachers for that isn't it? This is all your own doings. You control your own life. You make your own decision.

So in conclusion, I totally disagree with the statement of calling computer a menace more than a blessing. It is unfair to call it a menace because we benefited a lot from this gadget and in the end, blaming it for what we have become.

Today's topic: People today are selfish and greedy. Do you agree?

I do agree that people today are selfish and greedy. Of course, there are some who're not selfish and greedy but majority of them are. What causes them to become selfish and greedy? Fear of poverty? Afraid that other people might out-shine you if you lend your notes to them before a test? What exactly lead them to becoming selfish and greedy person? Well, I suppose it’s the fault of globalization.

Through globalization, things are done faster, more efficient. Many things has been modernized. This would lead to intense competition among the people. People then become selfish by having the mindset of "I cannot even take care of myself in this current situation. How in the world am I going to care for anyone else?” Yes, it's true that such thoughts have come across in the mind of some people. We can't blame them for that. They're just protecting their own interest. Then again, the word selfish means "their interest comes first". So it's actually really hard to define whether a person is selfish or just protecting their own self interest. Being selfish can be either unintentionally or intentionally. If we see this from the angle of globalization, we can understand that they're just protecting their own interest and not being selfish intentionally. The latter that is intentionally being selfish is intolerable. There are more and more people today that are selfish, not willing to share and at the same time, becoming greedier; wanting more and more things for themselves. Being greedy for a long period will have a big and negative impact on one. For example: Adolf Hitler. If he'd not been so greedy, he would've had a gigantic land for his Germans. Because of his greediness of wanting more and more land, he lost everything in the end. That is a lesson to be learned by everyone. Never be selfish, never be greedy. Though all these are resulted by globalization, we can't shift the entire blame to it either. This is because without globalization, the world would move on slowly... slowly... and slowly... Globalization had make things faster and efficient for us but at the same time, made most of us lose our moral values and dignity.

So are the people today really selfish and greedy? In my opinion, I think that people today are selfish and greedy but of course, they're not like that by nature but influenced by their surroundings. It's a sad thing though...

Today's topic: FEAR

I'm scared" seems to be the hardest word to say as nobody wants to show their signs of faltering, weaknesses to others. Unfortunately, I'm one of them for I would never want to weak.

Its hard to confide your true feelings deep inside your heart to anyone, even to your best friends or families for all human-beings are affected by the word "fear".

Fear of embarrassment
Fear of loneliness
Fear of poverty

Fear causes greed

Fear, is a kind of emotion. Because of fear, people changes. People changed accordingly to suit the situations. For example, one student might have failed his/her exams. Because of fear, he/she might resort to exchanging his/her exam papers with their friends in order to appease their grumpy parents. This is still considered to be an impact of fear, although a mild one. A bigger impact would be a case of murder. The murderer might kill more and more people because others had discover/found out the real culprit. They were silenced by him one by one. This is because of fear, fearing that any of them would divulge it. This goes the same in everyday life. Promise is a very big word. Because one can't fulfill what he/she promised, he/she will use various means/reasons to cover up. Worst of all will be that to give anyone hopes that he/she will fulfill the promise. And here we go again. Because of fear, he/she would use various reasons to cover up. Giving fake hopes is really unforgivable. Why promise when one can't fulfill it? All these goes back to the word "FEAR". Well, perhaps many people might think that such incidents are too dramatic but hey, it does really happen sometimes.

As mentioned earlier, everyone has to go through fear in order to grow up. Fear has both positive and negative impact. If one knows how to handle it, fear would definitely make him/her become a successful person as he/she would never ever repeat what had been done. This all goes back to your moral values and integrity. With a strong convictions and determination, one would definitely soar like a eagle!
